This section will contain questions that have been asked over the years I have traded.
As new questions arise I will be sure to add them to this section.

Q:- I use VHS videos. What is the difference between PAL and NTSC?
A:- PAL and NTSC are the correct systems for VHS video recorders.
The difference is as follows:

PAL is used mainly in Europe and Australia etc.
These tapes hold up to 240 minutes of recordings.

NTSC is used mainly in USA, Japan, Canada etc.
These tapes hold up to 160 minutes of recordings.

PAL videos will not be able to be viewed on NTSC machines and vice versa.
Don't worry. As long as you select the correct system at the start of your order all tapes will be sent to you in the system of your country.

Q:- Do you record DVD's?
A:- Yes i do record DVD's. When sending an order just add this request on the comments section on the order sheet.

Q:- What type of DVD's do you send?
A:- All DVD's are DVD-R and will play on 99% of all machines. If you have any doubts please check your DVD player can play DVD-R.

Q:- What is the length of your DVD's?
A:- I prefer to send 120mins on a DVD recorded both in PAL and NTSC.If a concert is slightly over this length that will be no problem. I can set the recorder to record the complete item to insure that it doesn't cut short at the end.

Q:- Do you use a Stand Alone recorder or a PC Based burner to record your Video Tapes over to DVD?
A:- I usually use a standalone recorder as i have to transfer some signals into NTSC or PAL as required. I can record discs on computer and i usually will if there are menus and chapters. When recorded on standalone you lose menus and chapters although different items are listed for easy selection.

Q:- Also what if I pick out 3 Different artists. Can i get these on the same disc?
A:- Yes i can put different items on each disc up to 120mins. You will not be able to select different chapters but you will have a menu so you can select whatever item you prefer to view.

Q:- Also what if I pick out 3 Different artists and want EACH artist put onto a separate DVD?
A:- The choice is yours and if you use the shopping cart facility on my site please enter any requests in the comments section. Example: You prefer DVD / each item on seperate discs!

Q:- Do you do 2 for 1 trades?
A:- No! I used to do this a few years ago and a few people sent up to 10 blank tapes. Then one day I received a box with 100 tapes in it. That was when I stopped doing 2 for 1 trades.

Q:- Why is the length of the tapes set at 240 mins for PAL and 160 mins for NTSC?
A:- This seems to be the most popular length of tapes. It is easier to get long concerts to fit on tapes this length. If you are only interested in a few things and the default settings are too long, please contact info@widzvidz.com and we can discuss this personally.

Q:- Are all of your videos nicam stereo?
A:- No! About 80% of all the videos are nicam stereo. Some of the more rare items are in mono and some footage i have sourced has been sent to me also in mono. You will recieve the footage exactly the same as my master tapes.

Q:- Do you trade audio and CD-R?
A:- No! Everything on my site is video or DVD. (AUD) on my site means filmed from the audience.

Q:- Do you send Surface Mail or Air Mail?
A:- All packages are sent Air Mail. All packages are also sent International Recorded Delivery to insure they arrive safely. You will have to sign at your end.

Q:- How long until i get the tapes?
A:- All packages are sent out within 4 days of confirmation of an order.

Q:- Do you sell your videos?
A:- No I don't sell my videos or DVD's.This is my hobby but if a collector is willing to cover all the costs involved then I will send him the tapes as a gift.

Q:- How will I know when your site is updated?
A:- You can check the Latest Editions daily. All new additions will also be in the main list and highlighted in yellow for one month. You can check on my latest updates page for new entries up to 6 months back.

Q:- Will the videos be in the system of my country?
A) Yes! All videos and DVD's will be digitally transfered into the system as stated on your final order.

Q:- Do you use good quality blanks.
A:- Yes! All videotapes are top quality. For example TDK / Sony and all DVD's are also top quality. For example Panasonic / TDK. With past experience I have found these to be the best.

Q:- What is WidzVidz.com's Refunds Policy?
A:- Refunds will be given at the discretion of the Company Management.

Q:- What happens if I receive a broken or damaged tape in the post.
A:- Contact me and this will be replaced by return post.

Q:- How do I know I will receive the tapes after i send the costs.
A:- This is where you will have to trust me. The only thing I can say to satisfy your doubts is that I could not have got this collection together by being dishonest with people.

Q:- Are you a musician?
A:- Yes I played guitar and sang in a rock band a few years ago. The band was called EZY MEAT and we had some success and released 2 albums. This is where I started my video collection and I have made many good friends over the years.
